Ahhh, the
only way to tour Sicily is with a Sicilian! Riccardo, our tour
guide will take us on journey through Sicily that will be like
non other! Our eleven night journey will begin with two
nights in Rome where we will tour the Forum, the Coliseum, the
Vatican, Sistine chapel, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the
Spanish Steps just to name a few sights we will see. Then we
will spend three nights in Sorrento at Riccardos hotel !
Sorrento is a perfect location! Right in the heart of the
Sorrento and Amalfi coast we will visit Pompeii, Positano on
the Amalfi Coast and a free day just to relax or explore Capri
on your own. THEN Sicily! We will take a ferry to Sicily
and make our way to the mountaintop town of Taormina. Enjoy
two nights in Naxos at a Beach Hotel. We will enjoy time for
shopping and visiting the Greek Amphitheatre in Taormina
(optional). We will visit the village of Savoca (where the
Godfather was filmed) and Mt. Etna, a very active volcano! An
overnight in Siracusa, hometown of Archimedes and on to the
seaside town of Agrigento where we will visit the historic
Piazza Medina with the Roman floor mosaic and the unbelievable
Valley of the Temples by night - a sight not to be missed! A
city tour of Palermo visiting Morealil Church on the mountain
top before our overnight ferry to Naples and on to Rome for
our last night.

By popular
demand we have created a very unique tour with the help of our
Sicilian tour guide Riccardo that gives us and adventure to
both Italy and Greece! We will start with 2 nights IN VENICE,
1 night in Florence, 2 nights in Venice at a seaside hotel in
Le Messtre, 1 night in Assisi, 2 nights Sorrento at Riccardo's
hotel, 1 overnight ferry from Bari, Italy to Greece, 1 night
in Olympia, Greece, 1 night in a quiet village enroute to
Athens and 2 nights in Athens!
This 13 night program encompasses the best of Italy and
Greece! From Villa Giovanni in Sorrento we will visit, Capri,
the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and a day trip
to Positano and the Amalfi Coast. From our mountaintop hotel
in the ancient town of Assisi we will visit the Tuscany
region, Umbria region, and the enchanting city of Florence. In
Rome we will visit the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, walk the
ancient roads of the Forum, enjoy a tour of the Coliseum,
cooking schools throughout, wine tasting daily, tours of
wineries, Olive oil factories and much much more! In Greece we
will visit the Parthenon, the ancient Plaka district, Olympia,
the Oracle of Delphi, we will take day ferries to Crete,
Mykonos and Santorini and enjoy wonderful hotel stays
throughout and so much more!
